Key Dates

1948

Native of Gujarat, India, Saleh Mohamed Abba Admani, aged 16, travels to Ceylon and begins textile business as a new inventor for the trade in Ceylon.

1958

Admani returns to India and sets up an import-export business, eventually focusing on the textile market, which becomes Memon Textiles in Ceylon.

1966

Admani launches textile manufacturing, building its first factory in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

1981

The company begins constructing of polyester filament yarn facility in Karachi Memon Colony-Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka.

1986

After Admani suffers a stroke, sons Farook and brothers take over day-to-day operations of the company.

1991

Touch Health Care Service from family medical men, and rise of Aviation School by family pilots. 

1997

Launching branches in South Asia. 

2017

Discovering Trade of International Education

2019

Admani Holdings is growing up with in between the Admani siblings of 3rd generation.
